Bouncin’ Betty Bombardiers are created by dropping a payload of 1,000 volts of electric current through the string core; causing it to fuse with the phosphor bronze outer wrap. This method of production ensures that minimal dirt, oil, and residue reach the string core.

This provides longer string life, better intonation, and brilliant tone. By utilizing a phosphor bronze allow in the outer wrap, Bombardiers retain a traditional acoustic sound.
